Feeling adventurous? Is the monotony of your life getting you down? Ever had food from far, far south of the border? Do yourself a favor and eat at El Arepaso. It’s in the old Las Americans grocery. RIP. The space is cavernous so bring about 30 people. The staff are gracious and helpful. Don’t be afraid.
Try the pabellon and taqueños. Try anything for that matter. TrTry both the jalapeño and creamy garlic sauces. Bring a little spice and flavor into your colorless, bland life. You’ll be grateful.
I saw this place on my way to work one day, and finally decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did. I had never had an arepa before so I didn't know exactly what to order . The young woman was very friendly and took the time to go over the menu with me before ordering. As a appetizer I ordered the cheese empanadas. They were the perfect bite of cheesy fried goodness. As and entrée I ordered the arepa trio and chose the pabellon, queen, and brandito arepas. They were fresh and delicious. They pabellon was definitely my favorite. It was warm and savory with the right amount of sweetness from the plantains. If you're in the area and want to try delicious food with friendly service definitely check this place out. I know I will definitely be visiting again.
Great hidden gem.
Arepa was fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Thier garlic sauce was delicious and paired perfectly with the arepa pabellon. Portions are large, they stuff the arepas well. 100% Recommend
Delicious food and lovely people! In a really nice new food court with Latin American restaurants.
This brand new restaurant started out in Mother Road Market and finally got a brick & mortar location along with Inkanto Peruvian and Grenada Red Mexican. This location offers fantastic Latino foods. Arepa Bar especially had great vegetarian options I enjoyed. A great Venezuelan experience.
