Historic bar in part of the old blue dome service station. Parts of the bar, including the bar itself, date back to the original Arnie's from the 1930's. The Guinness here is exceptional. Very friendly atmosphere, great bartenders.
This place is a must. Small, jammed packed with a ton of stuff on the walls, friendly bartender that served me a good cold blonde.
If it was closer to home, it be one of my easy-going go-to spots.
So I've been there several times and every time I go, I meet someone new or have a new interesting conversation, like most bars, but what separates Orpha's is that they have great prices, are next to the downtown Tulsa Transit bus station that gets you around town for $1.75, And they remember got each time you come in, and that can have a big effect with your ego, like, "Hey, they remember me!" Makes you feel special. However, and beware, some of the bartenders are "by the book" and will card you, so if your i.d. is expired, they will not serve you. Or if you don't have your i.d.
Exactly what you want in a small neighborhood bar. Friendly. Busy with drunk regulars. Nice owner. Chill and down to earth.
Fantastic Irish pub. This is the absolute real deal. Wonderful history, superb service, great experience. The outdoor patio is beautiful and the gas lamps and fireplace are a really nice touch. Did I just jump back in time?
