Had great time at Peacemaker. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food selection was great.
Con: I ordered the Connecticut style lobster roll and while the lobster itself was great, I found $28 to be overpriced for a little bit of lobster on a super buttery bun with a side of chips.
There are many other items on the menu that are quality and cheaper than the lobster roll.
Food great. Tasty. Staff attentive & friendly & helpful. Acoustics need work (too noisy)
It was good. I had the lobster roll. I ordered an old fashioned, not so much. Waiter did a good job. Not up to New Orleans standards. Not bad.
Had Peacemakers for the first time tonight. We tried the hush puppies, crab cakes and two different boils— the shrimp and the snow crab. The food was delicious! I will say, I read some reviews saying they don’t give enough food for the price, I had the opposite experience. We got the hush puppies and crab cakes, and we could have skipped those, cause we couldn’t finish our meals. The boils are huge, they come with a huge biscuit, three cobs of corn, tons of potatoes and a ton of seafood!! The shrimp come as peel and eat. The snow crab boil was to die for! For the price, I actually found it to be well priced. We didn’t have any lobster or market priced items but what we did get was generously portioned and delicious! I highly recommend!
Group cycling ride ended at Peacemaker. Love that this shop has a side door into a bike rack!
Sat at the bar with attentive staff. Off the brunch menu I snagged shrimp and grits. Amazingly big whole shrimp, and super creamy grits. Personally the grits felt a bit too creamy, but that could have been dehydration talking after the bike ride. I definitely need to try them again when in better mindset.
At the bar a handful (3-4) beer taps, with a large bottle selection. Large rustic themed ceilings and lots of seating.
