I just went here for lunch today 2/20/2020. I could tell their usual clientele weren't young working professionals because it was a little difficult getting the lunch service completed in under an hour. I felt bad rushing the waitress for a ticket and for check-out, but we have to get back to work, not chit-chat for several hours! However, the food was pretty darn delicious. I had a fried green tomato BLT and it was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. Wish I would have thought to just eat the fried green tomatoes as an entree because they were that good. The homemade chips were delicious also, and they gave you free ranch dipping sauce without having to ask for it, because in Oklahoma we dip everything in ranch. The bread pudding is made to order, so be aware, we ordered it when we ordered the food and it was fresh and hot and yummy (Although a little heavy on the cinnamon for my taste). Plan on spending about an hour and a half and just enjoy the experience when you have time and get the freaking fried green tomatoes.
Great service and attention to dinners. The food was good and quick. We were able to get in and out in an hour which is important during lunchtime breaks. When you walk in you are greeted by an array of cakes. For anyone with a sweet tooth this is an ideal addition to your meal. I tried the carrot cake and it was delicious. Not too sweet but not tart either. Parking wasn't hard. There is current road construction at location but the entrance is open for commuters to get in and out of businesses. Overall I enjoyed my time at Bread and Butter today. It was my first time visiting this location. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to break from the normal lunch fast food lunch spots.
As a first time guest at Bread and Butter, I found plenty of reasons to return. Since I dined seated at the bar, my server was the bartender. What impressed me the most was the knowledge (of tequila, specifically) with guests seated near me. He lived in Mexico for a few years, so it seemed credible and informative. The deviled egg appetizer was unique and delicious. The bite sized pieces of crispy chicken tenders were perfect! The pies and cakes on display were incredibly tempting. The cakes in particular looked absolutely amazing.
The atmosphere was casual and relaxing, which is something I appreciate.
Yummy, good country/ home cooked style food. Amazing dessert selection. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese appetizer. We had a plate of salmon and a plate of the meatloaf one plate of the special half soup half sandwich. We all left full and enjoyed our meal. They server was friendly and let us sample some pie. My only complaint was the she said the F#U(k word when describing how good the pie was. That was unprofessional and we do not like language like that. We ordered a peanut butter pie to take home with us. It was delicious! They have the perfect combination of peanut butter and sugar! We will definitely visit this location again.
My husband took me to the Bread & Butter Restaurant for the first time and it was wonderful! The service was awesome and so was our Waiter Danny! I had the Southwest Cobb Salad with grilled Chicken and my husband had the Salmon. We had stuffed mushrooms for starters. Our food was very delicious and we will definitely be returning so we can try their yummy desserts!
