Jamil's

Fantastic ,I mean it,takes you back to when restaurants were built on good food and great service,we ate from the time we set down until we left.
When in Tulsa Jamil's is the place to eat.
Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Family owned Tulsa staple. Excellent cabbage rolls, tabuli, hummus, ribs, seafood. You won't leave hungry!

My date took me to Jamil's for Valentine's Day. Jamil’s Steak House is one of Tulsa most legendary restaurants, having began in 1945 by Jim “Jamil” Elias and continued on by his son Tyrone Elias. My date did not make a reservation so we had to wait only 1 hour but we were able to sit while we waited. I enjoyed a nice conversation with the man sitting next to me while my date looked at the walls which are filled with pictures of family members and celebrities. The lighting was dimmed making for a romantic evening. My large filet and my dates KC Strip were tender and tasty. The only choice on the menu is the kind of steak you want and how it is to be cooked. All the other food items are predetermined and come with the meal. We had hot and cold Lebanese appetizers and a salad. I enjoyed eating something new. The salad was only iceberg lettuce and dressing. They ran out of baked potatoes so we were comped with one small slice of plain cheese cake drizzled with chocolate syrup. I did take home a to go box and it was just as tasty two days later.

First time back to Tulsa in a year, so, of course, we had to go to our favorite steakhouse!! The steak and chicken were even better than we remembered! "Hats off to the chef, John Alcott!" Always a an exceptional time. Tyrone would be so proud of his daughter Jennifer Alcott. Thank u!

Had one night out with my beautiful wife. Ordered the T-Bone and Smoked Chicken. They were cooked perfect the service was on point. This is a family run restaurant with Oklahoma roots and it shows. The smoked bologna and ribs were so tender and flavorful. Thank you for a lovely night Jamil’s!
