We loved Juan's food at his old location, it was lighter & less greasy/oily than other Mexican restaurants. At this new location we weren't disappointed. In addition to the great food & service we've come to expect, the authenticity of the food actually improved. Even the tortilla chips aren't the thin ones you get from the store, but ones that are robust & full of flavor & stand up will to queso & guacamole! We'll be back.

Wanted to love this place. Salsa is amazing! Chips were fresh and wonderful. Queso a bit bland but good. Great taco salad. Never had a soggy chimichanga until I ate here. Was extremely disappointed in it and waiting 20 minutes on tortillas for the fajitas. Seems like they would benefit from 1 person taking care of a table rather than 3. Many things were missed. Overall it was decent but had room for major improvements. ESPECIALLY the chimichanga( really can’t even call it that)

We visited JC's tonight while camping at the state park. We had no wait and drinks were brought to the table immediately. We were shocked at how reasonable the prices were. Chicken/beef fajitas were $10.99 - we live in the Oklahoma City area and have not seen fajitas under $18.99 (single order) in a very long time. I had them and they were delicious and it would have fed my husband and I easily. My husband had the Steak Feliz and it also was a huge plate of food and delicious. Everyone working in the restaurant was very friendly. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area

My wife and I drove over to check the foliage colors around Ft Gibson Lake and Sequoyah State Park, and also to try JC’s (Jauan’s) at their new location. According to the waitress the restaurant retained the same staff along with the menu. We tried the Burrito Monterey. A flour tortilla filled with well-seasoned ground beef, topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and queso. The lettuce and tomato made the burrito taste much fresher than just a burrito with sauce. Packed with ground beef, filling and delicious. The refried beans were smooth creamy and not bland. Very good salsas and the chips came to the table fresh crispy and warm. The restaurant is a repurposed diner, clean, lots of room and there are big windows that allow for scenic views of the lake. I like it! It was a pleasant experience.

If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.

This is old Juan's that operated on the east side of Hwy 69 just north of the intersection of highway 51 in Wagoner. The menu is the same, even the telephone number is the same. The restaurant has changed its name and now operating under the alias of JC's. The restaurant is now located on the south side Hwy 51 just before you cross Ft Gibson Lake going east to Tahlequah. Easy to get to and ample parking. See the Spike S. review for Juan's in Wagoner. I was not too impressed with the restaurant when it operated in Wagner, however it seems to be well loved by the locals. Since I'm frequently in the area I will give it another try.

We ate at the old location a few times and just never cared for the building. This new location is a HUGE upgrade! We eat there pretty often and the food is always pretty good. Juan (owner) is very personable and we enjoy his visits. He even made a burrito I had at another restaurant special for me which was delicious! The chips and salsa are good. The beans and rice (and I'm not a beans and rice fan) are the best I've had! And best of all the price is reasonable!
