Haines Steak House

On our recent and return trip to Baker City Oregon we made reservations at the Haines Steak House. The food was delicious and the service prompt and people there take good care of the customers.
I had the ribeye steak. My husband had the T-bone steak the salad bar was fresh. We had the best visit with the folks at the front desk. We had left overs of course with enough food for breakfast and lunch 😃😉 before we came home on Sunday
We will definitely be back.

Great food and service.. Drove almost 2 hours and will be continuing to do so monthly for an amazing meal. Love date nights here.

The staff here was incredibly friendly, but weren’t too happy that I came alone. I was here during graduation time and the Eastern Oregon Livestock Trade Show & Rodeo so it was busier than normal. Took off two stores because the employees at the salad bar were man-handling the salad with bare hands, touching most all of it, and even tossing bits that fell off of the sides back into the bowl. Steak was also unseasoned or so under seasoned that I couldn’t tell. Au Jus was akin to water so that didn’t help with the flavor unfortunately. I was told this was the best steak house in the area, and it was disappointing. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this place or come back, but I appreciate the friendly staff.

Very friendly service. Clean and tasty salad bar. Cowboy bread was amazing! The steaks were very delicious and the overall experience was a ten.
