Love going here after a day playing in the snow. Good drinks and food, but be prepared to wait. It's a popular spot so both tables and parking are a premium.
They were busy, I know. But the service was slow and inattentive, and I asked for a box three times before getting it. The menu isn't very discriptive so I was a little disappointed with my halibut. Should be fried, right? Especially from a brew pub, right? They should tell you they're out of cucumber or that it doesn't come on the sandwich anymore and they should say the red onion is pickled, or so it seemed to be. When it showed up, I thought oh well, it looks good enough. It was dry and lacked flavor on the whole dish. I tried a bite of the pub burger, it was over cooked as the outside of it had an over charred flavor/texture to it. I also had a bite of the pastrami dip. The pastrami dip was the best even with a bit of a soggy bottom bun. I know folks generally are coming off the mountain and are very hungry but for this long drive driver I hoped for something with better overall flavor, especially for the prices...
Really good food with above average wait staff. I've been here 3 times now, and it is solidly a 4 star experience. Very good food, slightly above average customer service, good location, great beer. There is usually a wait due to limited seating. I highly recommend sitting on the patio if the weather is nice, since that really takes your experience here up a notch.
Had to try the impossible burger. It was exactly as advertised! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as well as the staff. Overall, a great place to visit anytime of year - though the snow definitely adds to its charm.
