“Excellent little bar sitting on the edge of the visitor center. If you're lucky you can snag a seat outside, have a beer and watch the skiers and snowboarders come up the lift and go back down. Great views over the clouds. Prices are a little steep but cheaper than the other places at Timberline Lodge. Staff is super nice and accommodating too. They all seem to enjoy working there and go out of their way to be sweet and helpful.”

“I go to the fine dining every few months with a friend that loves good food and wine. The wine guy Clayton knows a lot and knows how to sell quality bottles rather than up selling just to make a bigger tip. The food is usually good and the choices change seasonally.”

“Great spot for tacos! It’s hidden in the woods and easy to miss. The serve beer and have a nice warm fire inside and out. It gets super crowded by the time it opens. Not a good spot for families. This is much better for a smaller group. You probably won’t be able to sit down 90% of the time because of how busy it gets. There are pit toilets outside which is nice.”

“Best french fries I've ever had in my life. Bread on burger was incredible. House made potato chip nachos with heaven cheese sauce HOLY COW!! Go here! Great beer too. Nice and warm. Way better apres ski than wherever the hell else you're thinking about going.”

“The food at Charlie's was absolutely amazing we had some delicious burgers and fries, started with an appetizer (cheese curds) they were so fresh and delicious. On top of the awesome food we had such an awesome waitress I wish I knew her name I'd give her recognition. Also the water they pump fresh under the restaurant is some of the best water you will ever drink so clean and clear. Overall I had a great experience and it's my birthday today... definitely would recommend to anyone coming through government camp.”

“Pretty good food overall. The pizza is great. This place is very much a bar. During the day, they are open to families. You have to go to the bar and order there. While we were waiting on the food, my son enjoyed the pinball selection. Food is quality by most standards. Limited selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Otherwise, we had a solid time.”

“Really good food with above average wait staff. I've been here 3 times now, and it is solidly a 4 star experience. Very good food, slightly above average customer service, good location, great beer. There is usually a wait due to limited seating. I highly recommend sitting on the patio if the weather is nice, since that really takes your experience here up a notch.”
