“Service-first. These folks nailed it. They're brand new, just getting things moving and although there was a little longer wait, they did not fail to deliver on anything. The quality was outstanding and food was plated well. We enjoyed a selection of different rolls, nigiri and apps. The restaurant interior was very nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely recommend getting a reservation on weekends. The experience was exactly as we had hoped. West Linn has needed a place like this for a while and we're very much looking forward to our next visit.”

“My husband and I were craving a burger and decided to check out Backyard Burger after hearing good things. Good decision on our part! The burgers are awesome!! The fries and and onion rings were great as well.The salads on the menu look amazing so I am excited to try one on our next visit. “Our family's new favorite Terriyaki joint . They have an extensive menu with lots of delicious choices. Food is always served hot & fresh, huge portions, clean restaurant & amazing customer service. They're great about taking special requests and informative about their ingredients. We've tried the Chicken Teriyaki, yakisoba, fried rice, General Tso's, Katsu, Galbi & potstickers - we're a family full of picky eaters and none of us can even decide a favorite! “Good service but not any comfortable seating, just a few hard chairs. Music is WAY too loud and speakers are no where near the service counter. Speakers are next to customer seating. I think employees don't realize that would sounds normal to them is outrageously loud because they are buffered by distance and by the noise they create making drinks. Background music should be just that, not so loud you can't hear the person sitting across the table from you.”

“We did pickup on the second day of them being open. They were super polite, everything was super clean and most importantly the food was so flavorful and delicious! “I ordered chicken fried steak eggs over medium hash browns and pancakes.the chicken fried steak and gravy itself was really good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered the hash browns crispy and they came as I expected and tasted great. In my opinion the pancakes are average. I don't know what syrup they used but it sure tasted funny. It was almost like a burnt marshmallow flavor. Might be because I'm used to real maple syrup. The food arrived at my table very fast. After that I didn't see the waitress until she brought the check. It wasn't even very busy but I had to wait in order to get a little more syrup for the pancakes. They have a rewards program here that I thought I was going to get to sign up for. It didn't happen. Bottom line, food is pretty good but the service could use a little help.”
