“This restaurant has been around since I was a little kid and the same family still owns it and works there! I loved going here with my family when I was little and going back for Mother’s Day this year was wonderful! The service was great and as always the food was delicious! They have food and drink specials every day! The bar is separate from the restaurant, separated by a door. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to go back! The burrito I got was large and well worth the price and they give you cute dessert after you eat. The chips and salsa they give as an appetizer are great! Another thing I love is the art in their bathroom, at least the women’s bathroom. As a kid it was so awesome and it still is! They have underwater themes and mermaids painted on the walls. One other thing I loved about my recent visit is that they gave every mom a rose for Mother’s Day!”

“Went there for lunch to take a disabled cousin of the family who wanted steak for his birthday. They only offer steak for breakfast or dinner outside of steak strips appetizers. So he had a burger instead as well as one of the other party, which they both enjoyed. I ordered the seafood combo plate and as the cod was good as expected prawns were small in meat and fluffed looking bigger with breading, and they charge more for those. Staff was amazing and I would hope they would be if it was busy at all. This place has a nice atmosphere including a fireplace with a simple good food menu. They need to invest in the parking lot big time as parking spaces are almost judgemental and I would recommend ripping out all the carpet as it looks like it , well you should not have carpet in a place that bears or ranch dressing spills . Let me finish by saying, customer service was excellent.”

“I love this place, have some valuable memories attached to it. It's small, clean and everyone is so friendly. Never had a bad experience here when visiting Oregon. The menu has good American fare and everything is reasonably priced. Everything is always served hot, no cold or lukewarm meals served here! I usually get the grilled cheese with tots on the side and I'm stuffed, you definitely get a lot of food.”

“Warm and welcoming owners. Made our first shaved ice experience informative and delicious. Added a scoop of ice cream in the center and that really took us over the top on cool and delicious. “We drove through at around 1030 am and the staff was quick accurate and the food hot and delish. There was a good amount of napkins put in the bag too as well as hot sauce which is important because you don’t always have those these days. We asked for extra cheese on the nachos and it was a good amount and worth the extra charge which is always not something I get right at other locations.”

“Went here with family after a skate at Lloyd center. Walked in during the PAC 12 championship game with people shouting and cheering for the ducks after another TD, seems normal for Oregon in that regard. Family are more Beaver fans tho. Wife had the special : halibut on bed of rice with salad. Couldn't turn her off, she raved for hours how good it was. I found a good beer and tried the chkn wrap, beer was better than the wrap, go figure. Will go back, maybe get the halibut.”
