“The owners are super sweet and this place is so popular that they sell out of product pretty often! But that means it’s all fresh. Great to go!”

“Delicious food. Went on Valentine's day. If you go then you should make a reservation. The flat iron stake was perfectly cooked and the sides were great. Salmon was good as well. The three course meal was perfect for me.”

“Short and sweet review: Inviting, spacious, warm, friendly, decadent, delicious, worthwhile. If you want to show that certain someone special that they are worth your attention, take them to Carruthers, order them whatever they long for, hold their hand, listen to what they are really saying, and enjoy every moment. This is a great place for a date. We will return. ????”

“Happy Hour is a decent way to experience this spot for the first time. I am not a huge sushi fan but my wife is, thus I find myself here now and then. Other meal options are available. Food is good and moderately priced. Service is attentive. My mates who are sushi experts say that this spot is pretty good and the only show in town. They say to get better sushi, one has to go to Portland. I'll pass and eat my crunchy roll right here.”

“Food was excellent. Ambiance pretty good, they had a live guitar player on the night we visited. Service is not rushed so be prepared to wait between courses. Portions we're generous enough we couldn't squeeze in dessert, having only shared a starter between the two of us. We will come back the next time we're in Astoria as there's so much on the menu that sounded so delicious.”

“My husband and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the crab cakes. They were horrible. Way to much herbs couldn’t even taste the crab. Would not recommend it. My husband ordered the salmon chowder....that was very good. Our waitress was good no complaints there. But never order their crab cakes!”

“My husband and I have traveled all over the nation as well as internationally and everywhere we go we eat at different places, even ones listed on TV shows. Even though it is two years since our visit we talk about Charlies as the best place we ever ate! Phenomenal food, the unbelievable service and a laid back atmosphere. We recommend it often as somewhere to go and we wanted you to know that we are now in Pennsylvania and still talk about what an awesome experience it was! All hail the chef and we will get back West and go again someday!”

“We kicked off our 25th anniversary trip here and we are so glad we did! We were greeted warmly which I always appreciate. I was so excited to have the razor clam on a stick and it was fabulous! No grease, just crispy and cooked to perfection. My husband's crab melt was delicious and the crab was ample. The chowder had clams and flavor in every bite. Great spot. Fun time!”

“Great newer spot in Astoria with a large selection of spirits. Custom drinks curtailed to fit any particular pallet. Our bar tender was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Would and will return.”

“Incredibly friendly staff. The bar and dining area are very clean and they have a great menu. It has the warm and authentic feel of a Parisian cafe. Easy to see why this is the most popular place for coffee in Astoria. Their smoky mezcal is recommended, if you’re in the mood for a tipple.”

“The food was pretty good. The tempura batter was a little thick. All the food came out a once, so it would have been bice to have the tempura and then our sushi. We liked all of the sushi we ordered.”

“Astoria restaurant is nicest of all their locations. Right on Columbia. Has big doors they could open in summer to eat on back deck. Clam chowder was thicker and better than in past. Had melted shrimp sandwich. Excellent preps. Good fast service. Appreciated on a winter trip to the beach.”

“Never miss an opportunity to go to Fort George. It's pretty much always busy but always worth the wait. Food is really great, beer amazing. The newer seating area is a great addition. And after you eat go check out the Lovell Taproom across the courtyard.”

“Awesome and FRESH fish and chips! They catch their tuna that morning! Fun place to take our friends and family when we have visitors from out of town! Everyone leaves raving about it! From the cute setup of the boat, to the friendliness of the servers, to the freshness and flavor! I was convinced I hated tuna thanks to the canned stuff at the grocery store. This is definitely not the same! Flaky, moist and breaded little morsels of deliciousness! Thank you!”

“A saw the place while visiting the area and stopped by to get some good Chinese-American food. The restaurant is pretty inside and has a fantastic selection of all the classics you would want and expect to see. The portions are large and the food itself is very tasty. The restaurant also has an attached bar with a fair selection of imported beers which go great with the food. The staff was very nice and attentive. I am happy I found this place and wish we had a restaurant like this back in my hometown.”

“Loved it. Picked up pizza since the hotel is right across the street. Pizza was delicious, with real pizza dough crust & sauce with flavor. You can tell they care about their food. My 7yr old ate his whole small pizza (& for a small it's decently sized). Staff were friendly & even the hotel personnel said it was their favorite. We didn't eat in, but if you do there's a small game area at the back (disclaimer: having a galaga game in the back did add points for good taste????)”

“Somewhat of a mixed experience, but generally on the good side. Food was tasty, as we've come to expect from Rogue. Chowder is always a good idea. We enjoyed nearly all of the beer samples as well. The setting is fun and has an iconic old-style fishing town feel. Being out on the pier, views are great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The biggest issue/area of concern was the speed of the food. Despite there only being 4 other parties in early/mid-afternoon, the food took almost 25 minutes after ordering, despite being very simple choices. We actually went through most of our beer before the food arrived.”

“Great food and service. Try the strawberry yucca drink....you can say your welcome from rehab. Love the deep in the woods location. Free peanuts while you wait for food or wait to sober up. Toss the shells on the floor like a boss. Owners are really awesome.”
