“As I entered this restaurant, I met the amazing kitchen staff and was able to connect with them speaking Spanish, which, gave me reassurance that the food would be of high quality. The servers and restaurant manager were very welcoming and friendly. The salsas and chips were a perfect start. The horchata was sweet and tasty. But the main enjoyment was the carne asada plate. The description does not do justice to how amazing this dish is. The flavors were all great. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will make sure to stop by again if possible. If you are in town, this place will not let you down!”

“Building is a bit worn and the restrooms are closed (porta potties available) but inside is nice. Hosts are helpful and there is a lot of travel information available for here and other coastal areas. A swing set and picnic tables are available. Easy parking although the entrance could be tricky with a large rig, steep downhill entrance. Fairly easy walk to the beach. Some deep sand if that gives you trouble. Wide beautiful super clean beach right here in town!”

“Came here for a quick coffee based on reviews. 3/5 Butteroo Beer - I was captivated by the name and ordered this. It definitely is no way close to the one you get at Universal Studios. 3/5 Great Notion - This drink was average as well. The place to sit around is great and like the varied options but I think the final delivery of the coffee could be better. I would say give it a try with the other options available and see if you like it.”

“The service, which there was plenty of, was impeccable. I chose a cocktail from the menu that was really tasty and refreshing. The meals were great! I was craving that prime rib! The garlic mashed potatoes, i loved them. Steamed veggies, perfect. They have a full menu to choose from. Our table was next to an adorable little koi pond and it had a view of the ocean. This is a very nice restaurant. And comfortable. We will be back!!”

“Great BBQ along the Southern Oregon Coast. Every item I tried for 3 meat platter was good, but ribs were my favorite. Perhaps the best cornbread I've ever had - very moist and flavorful. Service was absolutely great from the owner/chef (I think) to the lovely server lady. Highly recommended while traveling through the area.”

“We went in and ordered our carryout directly from the owner chef. We got gin- ger chicken and veggies...it was a good sized order with delicious sauce and lots of veg. We also custom ordered Shrimp with Snow peas and other veg...we asked for it to have garlic sauce and it was excellent also. Rice came with and it was just right. Enough left over for 2 big eaters to have 2 meals. I used to be married to a Malaysian Chinese guy who was a great cook. When I say this food is good I know what I'm talking about. Enjoy. :)”

“My fiance and I picked up some pizza and potato skins for lunch while visiting Gold Beach. It was all really good! The pizza was thin crust for sure, but I wouldn't agree with other reviews that say it was like a cracker. Slightly greasy as pizza tends to be but the quality was evident and the flavors delicious! The one front of house person was extremely nice on the phone and in person.”

“Very clean, friendly staff. Only a waitress and the cook there, due to staffing issues but they did a good job. I had the candied jalepeno burger with garlic fries and Better Half had the pulled pork with blue cheese sandwich. The burger was good. The garlic fries were clearly not freshly made and dry. The blue cheese was very light on the sandwich. Overall a decent place to eat for the prices, which were very reasonable.”

“Had the biscuit sandwich. Next time I’ll try a different menu item, it was delicious and filling but the biscuit part was a bit inconvenient to fit in my mouth! The egg part of the sandwich was made just the way I like it, cooked whites and runny yolk. I got it with a sausage patty. Hope I’ll be able to revisit sometime.”

“Woggy’s = DELICIOUS! We came here twice because it is that good. We got the Fish and Chips and Shrimp Tacos. Came with slaw which was fresh and light. Perfect pairing with both entrees. First time here we were able to get some of their homemade clam chowder which was creamy but not heavy. All made with fresh ingredients. Fish was perfectly fried with a mouthwatering breading. Fries were battered with the same breading and they were AMAZING! We were simply traveling through town to see the sights, and if that’s your plan…make this a stop on your list!”

“This little place is located right on the Rogue river and has amazing views. Food was 10/10. Had their Thirsty Thursday special with $4 fish Tacos and margaritas. Both were incredible. “It was a delight to dine-in in this restaurant. We had taken a stop over in Gold Beach on the way to Seattle from SFO during Christmas-New year vacation road trip and we wanted to have food in fine dine restaurant after long drive and this was perfect place as suggested by Sure Stay Plus staff. Our waitress Ginger was super courteous in suggesting food and to have us seated in one of the best table overlooking outside. Food was super delicious especially Mushroom chicken pasta and Chicken Tortellini. It would have been better if Tortellini was even more creamy. We had ordered Herb roasted chicken hindquarters which was unexpectedly good. I loved the ambience and if I get chance to that route, I would definitely visit again at least for the waitress Ginger.”
