Very busy small eatery with fun staff. Long wait but banter with customers and staff was entertaining. Had the fish and chips which were the BEST I'd ever had. Hubby had cup of clam chowder and HUGE BLT. Food was excellent and well worth the wait. So hungry I forgot to take photos of the food.
We had lunch here based on the very nice reviews. I have to say they're very delicious! Although there are many fish and chips places along the OR coast, this one is quite good. We were seated but waited a while to get our food. There are A LOT of to-go orders so prepare to wait if you come at peak hours. The waitresses are very friendly and work fast. We tried both fries and tater tots. I prefer the taters more.
Overall a great experience. We will try other items on the menu next time we are in the area.
I had the garden burger, and WOW! My expectation was a Morning Star patty slapped with American cheese….I was wrong! This was the best veggie burger I’ve had in a long time, and I’ve been a vegetarian for 13 years. It was on a fresh bun which tasted house made. My fries were perfectly crisp. It truly hit the spot. My friends got a cup of chowder and house made sourdough. They gasped at the creaminess of the soup and the delicious bread. I will be coming back!
Love The Crazy Norwegian! If you are passing by and want some good food, I recommend stopping. We first visited 13 years ago and, while it has new ownership, it is still the same. The food is great, the people are great and the location is great. We have had the fish and chips, tacos, chowder and pie, all delicious!
After you eat, go take a walk at the beach behind them. You won't be disappointed.
