“Nice restaurant off the beaten path. Harder to get to if you are looking for something closer to other restaurants and bars. Very seafood oriented menu with a great selection. Really liked their rice. The side salad was just ok. Seemed to be an after thought with less effort. The dining area is spacious. Not cozy but this place would be great for large groups. It seemed to be busy when we went for dinner and the wait staff seemed less attentive but the bus boy/bar back was very good and made sure we had what we needed, brought our food, and cleared our plates. The prices were a little high definitely up there with other nicer mexican restaurants in town but not better or worse just different.”

“Best Mexican and Latin food in Central Oregon. The Mezcal shrimp tacos are fantastic. This place knows what they are doing. Great to see this level of food coming to Redmond. You might pay a few dollars more than at other Mexican places in Bend or Redmond (you might not) but you'll get much better quality here than at the others. I live in San Diego, home to an incredible array of high-quality Latin food, and if this restaurant was in SD I would frequent it.”

“Sora Sushi is one of our favorites. The conveyor part was great for us as beginners to trying sushi a few years ago. We could look to see first what we wanted to try. It's currently still not operating due to C-19 precautions. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. We enjoy the decor and culture that is shared around the building. “This is a great place. Called in a to go order at 8:45am on a Sunday & it was ready to go 15min later, even with a packed restaurant. Matt took my phone order & he was super upbeat, funny, professional, & put in my order exactly as I asked. I was shocked by both quality & quantity for the price. My omelet was layers of yummy goodness, eggs were fluffy & nothing was burnt, under or over cooked. There are 2 things not related to the overall greatness of this place. One is the seasoning. The food tastes like a lot less salt is in it. Easy fix for those who like a bit more. The other is the Gravy it's not homemade or made from scratch. It's of the can variety with a bit of added flavor but not a whole lot. Again a preference thing. Otherwise this is our new #1 Sunday meal spot.”

“My mom and I had a great lunch dining experience. We ordered the California Chicken Pizza, and suffice to say we left full and still had leftovers. Deschutes Junction has a good selection of beers on tap, fountain and bottled drinks. My mom always loves MUG Root-beer, and they happen to have this in bottle and fountain. Part of the charm might be it’s not always busy, but I think they have really good pizza! My mom and I will most certainly be coming back! Thanks!!!”
