“First, the owner is a super nice guy, secondly, the breakfast burritos are outta this world and last but not least, the after church dinner on Sunday is AMAZING! I had fried chicken, red beans & rice, cornbread, Mac n cheese, shrimp stir fry, collard greens and cheesy potatoes and unsweetened tea all for $12.00. He had catfish and okra also but I don’t dig okra. If you want a great meal, definitely come to J’s ♥️”

“High prices and not as much food for your dollar. This place is close to our house and we've been there twice. Across the street and down a couple blocks is a better. This restaurant tends to serve an older crowd who are loyal to this place simply because they are used to it. Many businesses have been affected by inflation and this one seems to take advantage of it. When I go out for Mexican, I LOVE the refried beans and rice. Theirs was bland and the rice was dry. Service was decent and no complaints there, but once we received our food, a minute into it and we we disappointed.”

“If you live in Myrtle Creek like I do, you will know this place, as it's near the park and in the middle of "downtown". Much better quality than El Azteca. The staff are very friendly and also very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. The food is good, but not great. The steak is greasy and ground beef a little bland. But great chips and side dishes. Also, very good guacamole. Not sure what they put in it, but wish I could buy a huge tune of it.”

Cute 50's feel inside with jukebox and checkered floor. Absolute must go to spot for great nostalgic burger n fries served in a basket. 5 minutes off freeway and worth the drive...promise!”
