Mam’s Happy Thai Express

(4.5 stars) Cute place and the owner is very sweet, I got the Tom Yum and the broth was really delicious, they even added glass noodles per my request even though it wasn’t an official option on the menu. I loved it! Not a fancy restaurant per se, but nice and chill for a good meal :)

The atmosphere is cute. Love the purple front door. The owner was very sweet. We received the food pretty quickly. Only giving 3 stars bc the food was just average. The peanut sauce was very runny, and my Pad Thai with chicken tasted a little gamey.

Extremely disappointed with my green shrimp curry!!! I am doing two separate reviews, one five stars and three star, to show how great this place CAN be but also get the staff's attention to value each plate they serve.

The staff was SO nice, the kitchen was hustling and working hard and clearly understaffed, but that doesn't excuse selling a curry to a customer with...no curry?!

Check the photo. I did my best to give them the benefit of the doubt to saturate the rice with the two teaspoons of curry sauce I was given. The rice, shrimp and veggies showed incredible potential. But I was completely bummed and bewildered to be served rice with veggies and shrimp and no curry.

EDIT: Apparently I can't do two reviews.with one account. My wife's Pad Thai was the best she's ever had. Amazing. And I know my curry would be too if they didn't forget...the curry...

First time visit and dine , came here for padthai but they out of the main ingredient. There are variety delicious hotplates and not too spicy. I guess owner is the chef , nice lady, brief chat about the food, will definetly come back.

Amazing chicken pad thai, stayed open a few minutes after closing so we could order & sit down to eat while it was raining out side. the owner helped us & was very kind. not only did he offer to get us the utensils he also came by our tables with waters and was very kind. 10/10 recommend for a quick bite to eat with lovely staff.
