This place had some good points and a lot of really not so good points. I'm giving it a good rating because my brisket was honestly that good, but I basically felt like everything else was not good. I don't generally appreciate places where it has the feel and prices of a sit down restaurant and for some reason you have to go order at a counter, the girl who took our order knew NOTHING about the food and could not answer a single question we had, not even the most basic questions, I get being new, but like do they not train new people at all? We had a party of 10 and we all ordered at basically the same time yet between the first two people getting food and the last people getting food there was like a 20 minutes difference. Nobody checked on us to see how we were doing our how our food was. They charged us an auto grat - but for what? I know we were a larger party, but what the hell did anyone there do to deserve a tip? You think you deserve an 18% tip because you slowly carried out some food trays 2 at time and a few drinks here and there when we came up to a counter and ordered them? Impressed with the food, the place looks hella cool, but the service y'all... I might try again hoping for a different server and different experience with a smaller party and see how that goes.
Food good, Staff friendly. In a neat old building. Have to order at counter, I prefer waitresses.
I wanted the Saloon to be better than it was. It is a fun, family friendly place. The menu promises lots of tasty treats, but the food was actually a mixed bag. Onion rings - perfect. Mac and Cheese - very good. Brisket - dry and overcooked. Pulled Pork - very fatty. Not a terrible experience- but just sort of missed the mark.
OMG!! Can you say great food, great service, & great atmosphere?? Very few places offer all 3. Bronco Saloon does. They are so fun & up beat. It's like eating with. One big happy family & your the guest of honor!! Rare find for the value & portion sizes too. If you haven't eaten here. Your missing out. Put it on your bucket list before it's too late!!
Deep fried catfish and brisket chili were awesome. Brisket was a little dry and was $4.00 extra, would have been helpful if server mentioned that when we ordered. Would go back for the catfish but the service was nonexistent.
