Valley River Inn

Beautiful setting and space! My server was attentive and the food was enjoyable, though the hostess Rocky was rude and I waited a long time to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant where I had a reservation. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

A quaint and seemingly anonymous place that is elegant and beautiful. The food is always delicious, and daring, because it's a goodie town, but well organized, and worth the extra price. My party was treated like our company mattered, which is rare these days, and we where taken care of by staff that knew exactly what to do. I go as often as I can, and encourage others to visit this unique place. It is a great way to experience the taste of Eugene with out having to go every where.

Wonderful accommodating place. Gracious staff. Amazing gourmet medieval period menu for our special event. Special bar menu to accompany our theme. Just an enjoyable satisfying experience. Thanks to all who made it happen.

Very down-to-earth. A beautiful river side view was in the warm comforting building of the Valley River - Inn. Brittany was our waitress and she did..... very well! I felt more at home than usual. She was very patient and her recommendations we're very applicable. She knew how to discern her customers attitude in a matter of moments. Furthermore she was persistent on making sure that all of our needs were met. And Ryan you want to get bread rolls from Ryan he supplies everything you need for those bread rolls and sometimes when you need something and you don't even know n' yet he's already provided it. If they're working be sure to have them serve you. I was able to express myself in ways that were frowned upon in more quote on quote high-class environments. Well done you two keep up the good work.

This is a great hotel for a pleasant visit to the Eugene area. We requested a room with a view of the river. Room service was a fun indulgence for breakfast. Our server, Gina, was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the patio with the river view.
