“Chicken Chimichanga had good flavor, but wish that the outside had been crispy. I am sure that they would have done that if I had known to ask. Both the beans and the rice were good as was the service. Cheese dip lovers, be aware that their cheese dip is orange and not the white cheese dip. The chips were warm and crisp and the salsa was good. I would go back again. Oh... and the sour cream was exceptional.”

“My food was absolutely delicious. I have been to Hawaii on numerous occasions and you really do put the comfort of Hawaii in your food. I have had different meals now and can not decide on a favorite yet! The service is always happy to see you and they make sure you will come back! I'll be back! Thank you so much!”

“I come here frequently since I live close, and most days I have too much going on to make food at home, let me start by saying that I never have had any issues with the food or the customer service. Until today. I went through the drive through and placed my usual order I asked for 6 green sauces all together and that I had no problems paying for the extras, I got my order it had only the first 2 sauces so I double check the receipt to see if I had in fact been charged, I had. No problem what so ever, I work in food and I also know that sometimes we have bad days and it's not always so easy to leave that at the door or with the last customer, but I did however want my sauce so I parked and went in and the cashier who I had given my order to and already dealt with some of her attitude came around the counter and asked what I wanted and I asked for the other four sauces to which she very angrily reached into the jar of sauces and threw two huge handfuls into my bag, first off she was squeezing them so tight a few busted in her hands. Not the way you treat a customer who is simply asking for what they paid for, then I get home and I open up my burrito and it's not even what I ordered. I probably won't be back to this location.”

“Excellent breakfast and doing great job through these troubling times. Servers and tables were accommodating for COVID. Wonderful quick service. Re-modeled older building into an industrial restaurant vibe. Woodstock skillet was fantastic and would highly recommend.”

“Pulled pork as good as it gets. The Tri Tip was very good but a little chewy. Could have been cut just a little off. The flavor was all there though. Red potato salad and Poquito beans were outstanding. Toast was very good.”

“I really feel that this location is a hit or miss. Sometimes the people working are nice and friendly, other times very rude and it seems that they’re trying to get you out as fast as possible even while you’re ordering. I really enjoy the turkey pesto sandwich, it is very filling. This is a 6 inch sandwich - meat under the lettuce and very delicious.”

“I was excited to try the sandwiches here.I got the number 5, a fancy BLT with avocado and chicken thigh. It was delicious and I loved the sauce on it! The potato salad and Brussels slaw were just okay. The potato wedgies were yummy. The whole ordering process was nice and easy. The only problem I had was that I couldn't order on my phone because it said I had a billing address error. Just got on my laptop to order, easy peasy, and the curbside pickup was very easy and convenient!”

“I am from the east coast. Other than Portland there really is not any soul food spots. I now reside in Salem and taking an hour trip is not worth the ride. Jo Jo’s is the only soul food place that I found up here and I must say that they exceed the expectations. The ribs , the chicken and Oh my god the Cat fish Friday ?. Cooked with love. Only thing I wish is that potato salad was added. The food is worth the price and is so worth the drive. I’m currently a new resident and a new customer now. This is now a place that I will be visiting regularly.”

“What a great group, soo nice. Very excited to have a Filipino restaurant in town again. I was devastated when Pacific Grill closed. Lumpia in town again and I couldn't be happier! Can't wait for the whole menu to be available.”

“I've been eating here for years, even cooked at the RAM for a bit in my youth. What a great place for a summer lunch! Shaded or sunny seating can usually be had out on the deck over the creek. The food is great, service is usually good and the drinks are above average. This trip was nice because it was on a Monday, happy hour prices all day! This meant a nine dollar burger was 4 and change, two more bucks to make it a meal. The ram is a nice place to eat, and you will usually spend more than at a quick lunch spot, but you can make it economical by choosing wisely. I would have taken a Star off for the two day old topper on my Bloody Mary (which was otherwise good) but the waiter kindly comped it after seeing it. It was a rare miss and they fixed it.”

“Authentic and delicious! You'll have to wait patiently if it's busy as there are very few staff, but wow is it worth it. This restaurant has the most authentic Japanese food in Salem, Oregon.”

“The diced chicken almond chow mein was fresh and delicious. The rice was clearly at least a day old. Cold. The barbecue pork was pretty good. The restaurant is small and somewhat cramped. Not a good spot for more than four or five people at a table. The service was barely existent. The lady brought my food and that was it. Never checked on me once. Never refilled my water. Never offered hot tea. Just delivered my bill. Not sure she said more than three words to me. Not very friendly or welcoming.”

“Staff is what makes this place great. They are so kind a genuine. You can tell they are happy and that they love what they do. Small little corner lot in Salem. For a food truck, the food is great, full of flavor. The menu is kept simple with limited options. Dishes are fairly plain, your choice if bowl, plate, platter or a few others. They also have daily specials. Nice little spot to check out!!”

“Love their wines! Beautiful views from the tasting room as well as the outdoor seating area. The inside is gorgeous with crafty repurposing and natural elements. The cherry goat cheese pizza hits my happy spot, I have enjoyed all of their food but that's my favorite. Wine, food, and the Willamette make this a great spot for a special event, or stopping by while paddling or cycling. Fun, friendly, and very hospitable.”

“Really good. Food was hot and tasted fresh. I didn't have to wait long to give my order. Very helpful and polite. Very good value for the price. I've only come here to play VP in the past, this is the first time I actually ordered food and I will definitely be coming back. I got the pork fried rice and some pan fried noodles. I'm very particular/picky when it comes to pan fried noodles, even though they seem so simple a lot of places somehow mess them up. But these were the best I've had in Salem!”

“We have a large family and most of the time drive thrus try to rush our order and get things wrong. Not here. They let you say your order without trying to complete your order with rude interruption. They let you talk. They listen extremely well. And when they repeat it back they talk in normal voices. 5 stars for today. So impressed with their employees!”

“Chef made hand made food fresh made. It's amazing, just like old fashioned homemade. I recommend the ultimate scramble, chicken fried steak, or any daily special. The herb biscuit with sausage gravy is highly recommended. Small place that can get busy, but the kitchen is quick and the service is attentive.”

“They had a limited menu from what I remember but with being hit economically I get it. The food was very good and service was great. They were very careful to protect with face masks for both customers and staff and you could tell they were keeping the place very clean.”
