(January 24, 2020, 5:49 pm)i can't recommend this place enough. i got the vegetarian plate with some extra plantains and yucca. it sounds simple enough--rice, beans, greens--but it's cooked and flavored to absolute perfection. i will definitely come back over and over again.

It wasn't anything fancy; very much like a meal I would have eaten in a family's house or in a small restaurant when I lived in Brazil. The beans and rice were perfect, the meat was delicious, and the collard greens rounded out the flavor profile. This was the ultimate comfort food for me. Although it's a drive for me, now that I know it's there, I'll be back when craving the authentic Brazilian experience.
