The beers were good, but the food was spectacular. The 3pm ‘til gone menu special of bacon-wrapped chicken and waffles was bomb. I’ve had a lot of chicken and waffles and this was perfection! Try the Slabtown or Classics taster trays. 6 5oz tasters at $12 each. Try to score a table on the first floor for the best view of the brewery. Amazing beer. Patio. Upstairs bar. Clean. Everything you want in a brewpub.
I couldn’t have been more pleased with my time here. The beer is delicious, with a great selection of rotating taps. The food was also reasonably priced, tasty, and served quickly.
First time here for a company meeting and we had a blast. We were in a private room on the second floor overlooking beer vats and the huge seating area. The wait staff brought in appetizers consisting of beef sliders, spring rolls, pretzels with beer cheese and salad which all were amazing not to mention the beer selection which also was very good.
We rented the upper "Mezzanine" area for our holiday party of about 80-90 people, and it was great! The space is modern and fun. Since we rented the whole area, we were also allowed to have minors. It has an elevator, and separate bar and restrooms just for our group. Plenty of spaces to sit and stand. Food was excellent (I loved the pretzel bites!). Drinks were excellent. Bartenders were helpful and friendly. Eliot, the event coordinator, was wonderful to work with, and their online booking system is easy to use and made the cost very clear. They provided drink tickets so we could control our costs, and also allowed folks to pay for their own additional drinks, which all counted toward our minimum. The only drawback is that it can be a little tough to find parking, and it's not very close to public transit.
Best burger in town. Wife says they have an amazing tuna melt. Beers are good too. If you buy their bottles or cans there they charge a opening fee (is that cultural standard?). Waitress was less than engaging but ain't no body going to rain my beer-n-burger date.
