1/6/2020 - first visit here was a home run. The thoughtful layering of flavors and textures paired with beautiful presentation and fantastic service was almost too good to be true.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy dinner service, the kitchen and wait staff never missed a beat, and watching the symphony take place from our perch at the chef's counter was quite impressive.
For the money, the dishes are generous, especially considering the time and effort each one takes.

We had gone to G Love once for drinks and a small bite and loved it so much. Finally returned for dinner and everything was fantastic. It felt unique yet hit the spot like your favorite comfort foods. The ambiance is cozy and light. The staff treats you like family. Love love love G Love. Will return!

great service. extremely well thought out intense flavors in most dishes. small portions. some dishes are trying too hard. try approaching it as a multi course tasting menu, with shared plates, one or two bites each.

the bucatini was great, clam flavors throughout the dish. the beans dish was equally hearty, almost soup like. the hangar steak was deep and rich. the pork was shredded and pressed into squares, very deep and rich with pork flavor, a tad over salted.

the cornbread dish was a great exploration of flavors but what’s it trying to be? it’s not quite a salad and not substantive enough to be a starch dish. interesting but not to be ordered again.

the bar has a good small niche selection of liquors. rum is the next wave booze and they’ve stocked a few. good wine list.

the staff is well trained in their menu and wine list.
