Really interesting place. The cask cocktails are on point.
    Food interesting and well prepaired.

Update. I have not been here in a few years but I never forget. I love it here and miss the flavors.
I can't wait for next trip. Broder is worthy of a destination.

Ridiculously good. The lamb burger was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Gratin potatoes had a nice crunchy element for texture on top of the richness. Even the pickles were great! You really get the dill. It's order at the counter and then sit down style. It gets busy quickly so going early is a good plan.

Maybe I'm just to Old School or maybe my version of "brunch" is more like what "The Overlook" would serve everyday of the week, an omelet so big that you could split it between two people complete with hash browns for $10 The Overlook is now gone replaced by a new apartment building without enough parking for the tenants and for Sunday brunch we now have a variety of overpriced restaurants on Mississippi with barely enough room to sit 20 people and with some kind of gimmick to sell there food and this is where Broder Nord falls in, boasting a Scandinavian theme with a menu that uses the Nordic language to describe the food that you are ordering but IMO, two eggs, two sausage patties, a cold flat pancake and a half piece of dry rye toast w/ a Kahlua and coffee for $21(no tip) is no bargain, don't get me wrong the food was good and my daughter and I had a great laugh at the eggs that were cooked into a square form (maybe that's the Scandinavian way) but I was really looking for something special for a Christmas Brunch with my kid and this was not it, In short it left me hungry, $48(with tip) poorer and wondering where was the Scandinavian theme that looks so cool on their website was, as I walked out.

The music was way to loud! I could barely hear my fiancé from across a very small table. The food was tasty and well prepared but it was mildly ruined by how loud the music was. The only respite we had was the 10 second pause between songs. When I go out, I enjoy speaking with the people I’m dining with, not shouting over the pop-hits of the 2010’s. I really cannot emphasize enough how excruciatingly loud it was. Also, to be honest it was quite cold even though we were lucky enough to get a table inside. The temperature combined with the music made it a very uncomfortable experience.

I would highly recommend going to the Broder Cafe instead.
