The bibim box is an absolute must. The bulgogi is fantastic and all their side dishes are super fresh. You get plenty of food for the price and its a got decent ratios. This food is really close to the food my mom (korean) makes and this is where I go for an alternative korean food fix!
I was passing by and had to try this place when I discovered it googling around. The name is hilarious and I love food trucks + one of my favourite cuisines is Korean food. The guys working there were really nice and laid back, jamming to old school old hip hop tunes.
I ordered 2 items off their menu.
-Galbi (beef short ribs, side dishes, and rice) $15
-Kim Chee Fried rice. $8
Do not order the Galbi.
The meat on the short ribs were really tough. Maybe I was unlucky and came when you had a bad batch of beef, but gotta check on that meat quality if you are going to charge $15.
The side dishes and flavors on the other hand were amazing. So the pork or chicken could have been a better choice. The Kim Chee Fried Rice was pretty good and can really taste the butter. Couple more pieces of bacon and this dish would fly.
What can I say...love it! Great food and big portions!
Amazing flavours, portions and service. The short ribs were out of this world. Some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had.
