If there IS some sort of spiritual paradise on the other side of all this, and if that place had a restaurant, it would probably look a lot like Lazy Susan. Everything about this lovely little brunch spot is executed perfectly. Somehow simultaneously modern yet classic, cozy yet airy and open, minimal but oh so satisfying. It is all so effortlessly kept in beautiful balance that one can’t help but lean back and just relax. Enjoy the experience. If you don’t, you did it wrong.

I had the burger. Again, an absolute classic. Like the burger that all other burgers everywhere esteem to be. Served with crispy, addictive hash brown patties that are worth the price of admission alone. My partner had an exceptional vegetable hash. I loved that there were thumbnail sized slivers of gently sautéed garlic mixed in with all the super seasonal veggies.

The Bloody Mary is a must if you’re doing that. If the coffee were served anywhere else in the same way (bottomless, vintage mug) I would have expected something more like coffee-flavored water. But this stuff was strong and potent, and just like the rest of our experience - perfect.

It was the night of the full moon. She looked at me in my eyes and said I want to take you to dinner. We ended up finding this place because the observatory was packed. She bought me possibly the best chicken fried pork chop I have ever had my entire life she herself got a steak. The wine coupled with the beer that I had made the slightly hefty price tag worth every penny. This might be one of the most romantic and best sounding, the playlist was absolutely amazing, places I have ever had dinner with my girlfriend before. Sometimes we find heavenly places to eat just by chance, I'm glad we found Lazy Susan.

We enjoyed the Country Cat and were sad when it closed. We read good reviews of Lazy Susan (in the location of the Country Cat) and had dinner there. It was a very fun evening. We sat in their outdoor dinning area, which was warm and comfortable. The service was great. The food and drinks were also very good. The menu had a variety of interesting dishes. We are looking forward to dinning there again.
