The observatory has been a go to of mine since moving to Portland.

I’m grateful how much of your staff is the same. I’m hopeful this means you’ve got great ownership and leadership.

Sometimes even when I’m not getting a full dinner, I’ll just pick up a side kale because it’s PERFECT. I’m so thankful that this hasn’t left your menu in years. THANK YOU.

Went for the first time with a group of friends last night, and it was great! The atmosphere was nice and the service was pretty good. Drinks were great and the food was great as well! It wasn’t badly priced either. 4 people, with full entree’s and a few drinks was under $100. We’ll be back!

The food was amazing. My husband had the Elk Burger and said it was "the best burger he's ever had". We shared the apple and beet salad which we order at other restaurants but this one is top notch. I highly recommend this place for great service and great food.

Amazing unique food, and great vibes! The staff is great, everyone was friendly and very helpful! Everything was priced great and tasted delicious. We got the cheese platter, the lamb burger, and the Mac N’ Cheese, as well as drinks and everything was amazing! The decor and atmosphere were nice as well. Honestly a must visit when in Portland! 5/5

The Observatory wasn't what was expected. In my opinion, it was better. A small, quirky, restaurant with separate bar and outside eating areas, it's atmosphere is inviting. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. The food is amazing! Well worth the moderate price. I had the Lamb burger medium rare and my friend had the Elk burger also medium rare. We shared. Both were cooked to perfection and both were so good we could not stop eating! We also had ordered the Oregano fry bread which was superb. Another hole in the wall to add to my list of favorite places to eat.
