Redwood

Cute place with pretty awesome food. I had the fried waffles (?!) out of curiosity and they were pretty delicious. The dish with collards was also great--slightly sweet, savory, salty...I'd definitely go back for brunch. Service was friendly and food came out fast.

This review is only for the corned beef hash breakfast entree. The corned beef itself was sparse and gristley. I had to spit out every one of the 6 pieces in the dish. Aside from that,the veggies were great, but the name of the dish said corned beef. I would not order this again.

Always a pleasure to eat at Redwood. I’ve been a regular for a long time yet I keep finding something new and delicious almost every time I visit. The new owners, Chantel and Brenda, continue to make this a welcoming place for excellent food in Portland. I'm so glad this restaurant is in my neighborhood.

Redwood has become my family's birthday celebration spot. Always friendly staff. Outdoor weather proof seating. Chiliquilles(spelling?) Very good. Spinach scramble, one of my faves, superb.
