Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The place was busy but the order process is fast and once you place your order and find a seat it takes about 15-20mins for your food to arrive. Since we came during happy hour my friend ordered the Margarita Pizza that comes with fresh mozzarella, basil and cracked black pepper for only $5 which was a bargain. I on the other hand got the Truffle Mushroom pizza for around $15 and both were packed with so much flavor and pure deliciousness. The white truffle oil they use isn't strong at all and is the perfect balance to the mushrooms. Definitely a must try and can easily be shared since it can be more on the rich heavy side. The pizza bread here is soft and the dough is really kneaded to perfection. I could eat it for days! The only downside was they don't offer any chicken toppings for pizza and I love chicken on pizza to get my protein. They do however have a lot more options for sausages if you're into that or veggie options like artichokes, olives, etc.
Street parking is limited so we parked further and scootered from downtown.
For 5$ this neopolitan fired pizza is EASILY the best pizza in Portland for the money.
Happy hour until 6pm everyday.
$5 draft pints.
If you aren't eating here you should be ashamed of yourself.
Life of Pie has one of the best deals in town: every day from 11-6 the simply delicious Margherita is $5. I almost always come here for that and sometimes a good beer on tap. Service is always helpful and quick.
I'm going against the tide, as most people rate this place higher. Three stars because pizza crust, cheese, and sauce were very good, high quality and well made.
Deducting a few stars because the bacon was barely cooked at all, lots of grease on the pie, and somewhat expensive for what you get. That's my review, trying to be fair.
