Lucky Labrador Beer Hall

The beer hall is a large open space with great beer and good food. Ordering at the counter was a breeze even though about 100 patrons were there. You get a number flag for your food order and the food is efficiently delivered to your table. I enjoyed the half tuna melt sandwich and chickpea soup. Prices are quite reasonable. We were in a large space available for meetings and the staff was helpful with connecting our presenters computer to the projector system. This is a great place for events like ours (a club meeting). We did not check out the outdoor area, hopefully this place is more dog friendly than the Hawthorne location. The North Portland location has been very dog friendly.

My husband and I recently hosted a party at Lucky Lab on NW Quimby to celebrate our wedding. What a great spot! We rented the private back room for four hours and had unlimited pizza and salad plus a private bartender. I swear this is one of the best deals in town. Everyone had a blast, too! I highly recommend Lucky Lab and look forward to visiting again soon.

I took my family here the other day because it was pet friendly and we had our pup with us. The outside seating was decent but no heaters for fall weather.

They have a strange food ordering process where you go to the bar and have to open up a tab. The food was good and very quick but the reason for the 3 star review was all about the service.

Everyone we encountered from ordering to service seemed annoyed they had to do their job. They seemed put out and were not friendly at all. I can understand a person having a bad day but not multiple people. And they should never direct it at the customers.
