Mumbo Gumbo PDX

So let me start by saying that this place is not only delicious, but super friendly and fast. I waited maybe 5 mins for my food, it was hot, fresh, and very filling. I'm pretty tall and usually need a lot of food, but I'm halfway through and I'm feel'n full. Great quick stop for a vegan friendly place, I myself am having the red bean and rice dish with vegan chicken; delicious just like momma used to make style food.

Excellent this guy is great . He knows how to cook some great food. I don't eat at many food trucks but this one is exception . Try it out you will go back time after time. 5 stars hands down

I have had the pleasure of eating here twice in the last month. Both times I ordered the shrimp and grits and both times I have felt it was one of the best dishes I have ever had. I know I will go back often and I should try other items but seriously this dish is so good it may be a while before I branch out.

This place is a gem. Amazing gumbo perfectly cooked. Makes me feel like I'm back in New Orleans.

Consistently outstanding. A love letter to classic creole cuisine. The portions are hearty and the hospitality radiates from the cart and proprietor.
