Food items and beverages overpriced for the quality. Tacos are $3.50 a piece. My buddy got a carnitas burrito & one beer and paid around $15. The rating should be moved to $$
There was one other patron there already eating their food & we waited over 15 minutes for 1 taco & 1 burrito--a pretty basic order. I still don't know why the carnitas burrito tasted like peanut butter ?
I was pretty disappointed by the food and prices but I will say the restaurant was decorated nicely & had some neat classic movie posters. Added a star for that.
Excellent salsas, love the tamales and the meat choices for tacos are all excellent. Super friendly service!
I can't eat cilantro. Their Pico had it so I simply asked to omit the Pico from my tacos. There gentleman asked if I'd like some tomato and onion for my taco. Never have I been asked if a restaurant could accommodate my restrictions! The customer service is beyond what I would expect. I really enjoyed my fish tacos and my wife enjoyed her meal as well. Top echelon customer service and good food.
I hadn't been here since I moved away from this neighborhood 20 years ago. My shredded chicken mole was very good. The corn tortillas were incredible.
Definitely one of my favorite, possible my all time favorite restaurant to dine at. I am a big eater, and I am a guy who likes things plain. I always order the kids bean burrito with some asada, and it has so much flavor, and comes in a very generous size. Their fish tacos are what they are famous for, so I would recommend that. Small thing to add as well, this is the best place to get M&M's or Skittles because the quarter machines give large amounts, 38 M^M's with one quarter. (Full sized: 55 M&M's)
