Santa Fe Taqueria

Decent food, but nothing too exciting. Hard to find good Mexican food in Portland (especially if you’re accustomed to Southern Cali or AZ food). Prices a little higher than you’d expect for quality, but on par with the area (23’rd is pricey).
Plenty of seating, bus your own as most places in the area.

The food is decent but definitely on the expensive side. I think this might be more of a bar than a restaurant, but I might need to try the plate lunches and see if that is a more reasonable price value. I ordered just a taco not sure of what to get. It was good but just 1 taco, no chips, and it cost me with a drink a little over 11 dollars. I do need to highlight that the taco was good, I just thought maybe I am paying to much for just 1 taco.

This place was such a great surprise. Went here on a whim and we will definitely be going back. Food was really good and came out super quick. But honestly the staff is what did it for us. They were so fun and hospitable it just brought the whole experience up. Do yourself a favor and get a churro

Food is delicious. Even better since they have 1/2 price after 10pm. Service is friendly.

Good Mexican spot on 23rd. There are plenty of options to choose from when strolling on 23rd so you've got to stand out. Margaritas were good! Food came out faster than the drinks and was good as well. The chips were oddly pretty stale and service was decent... felt it was a bit overpriced compared to similar restaurants.
