Owner is a good dude. Without a doubt some of the best Hawaiian food in the PNW. Killer Mac salad.
Wen you tink bbq chicken you no tink going be li dat, but still not bad. Too saucy but the Mac salad, she go.
I started eating at this food cart while I was a student at PSU and never once have had a bad experience. The food was and still is consistently great.
My husband and I had The Local Grind cater our wedding last month and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Robert and Larry were both wonderful to work with and made things run smooth through the planning process and the event. We love your guys' food and will absolutely continue eating at the food cart. Cannot thank you enough for everything.
Great chicken options and their sauces are wonderful. It’s really nice being able to add all the sauce you want. If you like macaroni salads, I would definitely recommend ordering a side of it with your meal. The portions are reasonable but the food seems a bit overpriced considering it’s a relatively casual food cart and not a sit-down restaurant. However, good tasting food overall and the wait’s not too long since everything is precooked.
