    Tried this place for the 1st time. They sold out of ribs so I had to get the Brisket plate. It was $16 for only 3 slices. The meat had a good looking bark, smoke ring, and the meat was moist without any of the greasyness. Despite the appearance, the Brisket was just OK. The meat didn't seem to have any flavor. I had to use quite a bit of BBQ sauce to make it better. The Hot Link also wasn't that great. It did have a kick though. All in all, the food wasn't really memorable or anything special. I will still go back to try the ribs even though I prefer Spare Ribs over Baby Backs and give the Brisket another shot. You might enjoy this place if you're a casual enjoyer of BBQ and have the craving for decent BBQ.

    I have eaten at many BBQ joints in Oregon. This is one of two that get it right. If you know good BBQ then you know it is hard to find in the area. This place is worth the trip. The Beans will change your life.

    Wonderful for and atmosphere! BEST BBQ I've had since Smoke & Swine was in town. Staff is awesome and took the time to explain what the items were on the menu. I highly recommend this place. Very affordable!!

    WOW!!!!
    I would never have believed you could believe a real TEXAS BBQ JOINT in Oregon let alone Salem.
    This place is the BOMB!!!
    The baby backs fall off the bone and the brisket is so tender if falls to pieces as you try to pick it up.
    You can see the smoke lines and taste the smoke in the brisket.
    You might as well order 2 sides of corn it's so so good.

    WE WILL BE BACK FOR MORE.
