Seeing as how we live basically two streets behind big Al’s in Creekshire homes, big Al’s is practically a second home for both of my sons. My older son absolutely loves the place and we try to make it there at least once every week or 2.

The staff is very young but unlike most places that I find who employ younger kids they genuinely seem to care about their customers. Many times I find that places with a young staff are not diligent or hard-working, and that is definitely not the case at big Al’s. Whoever handles their staffing does a good job of finding kids of the younger generation who are hard-working.

The staff upstairs for the video games is always very friendly and if there are problems with games they are very helpful to address the issues.

The food at the restaurant is really good but the service at the restaurant is sometimes a little sluggish, even on a weeknight when it’s not that busy. This may be a byproduct of having a relaxed atmosphere, but sometimes we find that our drinks have not been refilled in an expeditious manner.

I will say though that their staff is friendly though.

Also the serving sizes are enormous. They’re loaded french fries appetizer for example is a complete meal in and of itself.

The overall atmosphere was nice, but the approaches to the lanes were very sticky for anyone who uses their own shoes/gear. Additionally, My ball got stuck in the system about twice a game and the staff was very slow to respond and get my ball unstuck. The waiting staff took quite a long time to respond to food requests, offer drinks, etc. Just to be fair, I will go back another time and see if there is any improvement because this could just be a one time experience and i'd hate to judge them completely on this one visit. I will adjust my rating if it is better the second time through.

I've been a few times now and I honestly don't think I've had bad service. Everyone is usually into their jobs and are pretty friendly. Just recently took my grandmother for a day out and we had a nice time with a couple games and arcade games. Each time that I've had food here it's been very good. Prices are about the same with everywhere else in town.

We had a wonderful time. There's such a variety of fun options for everyone. The bar service was great as we're the staff. The only thing is parking on the weekend can be challenging.

Even in a busy Saturday night there wasn't a wait! Got our own lane in the back alley and it was much quieter than the front section. The waitress who took our order was very helpful and kept us updated when the kitchen was backed up. We paid for an hour (rather than by game) and it worked out just right for us.
