Definitely a throwback type dinner with great food. Went there for the breakfast for dinner and ended up getting the Bigfoot chicken steak. Wanted to take some pictures but didn’t want to seem weird but the presentation is large and well done. Definitely get some cornbread, fries, and mashed potatoes.

Delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices-but not cheap. Absolutely great wait staff! But I warn you: on Saturday morning when we visited there, the place was overflowing.

If you want to get your money's worth, this place is for you. Huge servings at reasonable prices. The best part is that the food is some of the best you can get in town. They are family friendly and the kiddos can get a treat at the end. The breakfast is to die for, the lunch is amazing, and the dinner options will have u rubbing your chin as you try to decide which option to get.

Went in during the Saturday breakfast rush at 10:00am. 25 minute wait, but ended up being a little over 15 minutes. Free serve yourself coffee is available while you wait.

Food is good, generous portions, free refills on coffee. Service was good, not great, but it was pretty busy so I'll give them a pass. Our grits were missing from our delivered breakfast and we had to let our server know. Never offered a refill on our water. Biscuits are huge, but bland and you need a lot of butter and jam to make them better. Opt for toast or pancakes instead. Black Bear has been around for a while and they provide some solid breakfast choices if you are willing to wait.

Black Bear Diner had a lovely atmosphere. The food portions are huge but only do black coffee, and no plant based drink options. More veggie options would be appreciated but you can get by okay. The omelettes taste great, vegetables are cooked well and servers are very friendly! Would definitely come again!
