What a fantastic place! It’s obviously quite popular with the locals, as the restaurant was nearly full when we arrived, and ended up with a line waiting for a table, by the time we left! Despite being so very busy, and though there only appeared to be one person managing orders, the service was fabulous! We were never once made to wait, as the wonderful lady that took our orders always seemed to be near at had, and once the orders were placed, the speed at which first our drinks, then our food, were brought out, was nothing short of amazing! And the ambience was just delightful! 10/10 would come back!
This is hands down absolutely one if the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Portland area. I have been able to bring friends and family here for years and always am able to feel confident we will have a wonderful experience. They provide excellent service and tasty food every time. It actually feels like you step into Mexico when coming through the door. With the location being so close to the cedar hills movie theater it is easy to prepare a entertaining night out. They have many types of dishes and it is always easy to make a choice even for the kiddos.
Pepita's is a nice little Mexican restaurant. It is filled (and I mean filled) with art and trinkets which gives it a welcoming vibe. For the most part the menu is standard American Mexican cuisine with few options most Americans would find unfamiliar. The food here is exactly what I'd be looking for out if this style of restaurant. The drinks here are fine for the price and pretty good if you catch a special. Overall, I find Pepita's to be a better combination of quality, quantity, and selection than any other Beaverton area Mexican restaurants.
Food here is great. From the start where they serve you warm tortilla chips and salsa (which is spicy and awesome). All of their food is great and reasonably priced, including their desserts. The only thing to complain is their service which is slow. But otherwise, this place is great.
Had unfair, low expectations but this place really made a great impression. Staff are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is lively. Food was amazing. They really nail the rice and beans which is make or break Mexican restaurants for me. I had the Chile relleno and wish i had ordered and had the capability to eat 10. Really really good. Finished it off with Flan and do not regret anything. 10/10 meal.
