As a long time customer of the Caspian Kabob Food Cart, I was thrilled to finally visit their new location after the pandemic postponed it's opening. My mom and I both ordered the Kubideh & Fries, which was so tasty and perfectly cooked. We also got a side of pita bread and hummus, but the portions of the main dishes were plentiful. The owner is warm and friendly, and cares so much about the food and his customers. The service was top notch! We left the restaurant with our hearts full and stomachs stuffed full of delicious food! Can't recommend this place enough.
Some of the best Persian and Mediterranean food in Oregon, with ambience and decor that exudes pride and joy as an owner-operated restaurant. We started with hummus and fries, both of which were excellent. We all got Caspian kabobs, with chicken that was amazingly succulent. And we finished with baklava that nailed the sweet spot of not-too-sweet with a hint of savory. We can't wait to go back.
Excellent food and friendly service. I got the veggie kabob over rice - it was fresh,.hot, and delicious. Great value too :)
The gyro meat was tender and flavorful, the pita was soft and wonderfully browned, the veggies were crisp, and the sauce was really good, and not so much that it made the whole thing messy. The falafel was amazing -- not dry and overly fried, really flavorful. Fries were great -- spicy and crispy on the outside, lots of tender potato on the inside (they said they were trying out different fries -- keep these!)
Friendly service, and you can taste the quality of their ingredients. The owner will happily guide you through the menu if you’re not familiar with the cuisine. I love the Kubideh, which is apparently made in-house!
