Yuubi Sushi

The high ratings this place is getting are accurate. I ordered takeout, and one of my rolls that had shrimp tempura inside of it had an actual crispy crunch all the way through, even after being packed into a takeout container. The spicy tuna roll had big hunks of tuna meat inside. Everything tasted so fresh, I will absolutely be back to dine in!

Albeit a bit on the pricy side, the quality of the fish, the perfectly adventurous menu, and the speed and friendliness of the service makes it completely worth it. I think this is quite possibly the best sushi I’ve had ANYWHERE let alone just the Portland area. I recommend arriving early as the place fills up fast. If you live in the area and love sushi, this is a must-try.

EDIT: changing from two stars to five. Five stars for incredible customer service and the owner personally going way out of their way to make things right.

I originally left a two star review for the takeout we ordered which we found to be expensive and not very fresh. The owner reached out to me personally for feedback and was very polite, gracious and humble. They even went as far to fully refund our meal.

Clearly the staff take great pride in their establishment, and I will definitely return for a dine in experience. Thank you!

JESUS! (And I’m Jewish) WHAT A SPOT! It’s fanfuckingtastic! Honest I’ve never felt so welcome it become a monthly ritual to come here and eat this amazing food and literally best staff I’ve ever witnessed!

I am blown away. Have you ever teared up DURING a meal? We've been waiting for so long to find a place. Please, just try their uni. It SCREAMS quality. Even my wife loved it (after Gloria, the amazing owner, showed her how to truly enjoy it). I hardly ever write reviews. But this place blew us away. We have finally found the best place for sushi in all of Oregon.
