“It's been a few years since they opened and I had a less than stellar experience so I decided to give it another try. We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning about two hours after they opened. We were the only customers in the place and only had to wait a few seconds to be greeted. We had our pick of the tables. We grabbed a seat had our coffee delivered and placed our order. The food came out in a timely enough manner, but the serving sizes were small for the price. My 13 year old ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy and I had the chicken fried steak. Two smallish biscuits and dollop of gravy was $8, my dish was $14 with the steak being more breading than meat. Each of the house coffees were $2.50 (we had one partial refill before our food arrived and an offer for another while we were eating). All total we paid $30 with tip. The food was OK but I felt it was overpriced when we could get something more flavorful and heartier at a few different places down the road. The waitress was friendly but looked tired and busy with other duties the majority of our visit. I gave it another go and will likely never return. I want to support local businesses, but it just doesn't make sense when it's not competitive.”

“Absolutely amazing food and very reasonably priced. We have been looking for a good chinese restaurant. We have eaten in so many all around the Portland metro and random places around Oregon and Washington, and New Chinese Cuisine is the best we have had in the Pacific Northwest. We will be returning frequently not only for the great food but for the phenomenal customer service from all of the staff.”

“Although this place has been open for 6 months, I was only able the check it out recently. So glad I did! The owner has such a warm personality and I witnessed her greet a few customersmy name. To eat, I had a avocado and tomato sandwich on a toasted croissant with a sprinkle of sea salt. It was simple and delicious! Prices are great for a grad student such as myself and I loved the quiet comfortable study area in the back corner. If you like soups, sandwiches and studying/chilling in a relaxed environment then check out Good Intentions!”

“This is my favorite coffee shop! Their coffee is so good. It is roasted differently (hot air) and it is so smooth and rich. The breakfast pies are AMAZING. And the gluten free breakfast cookies are simply divine. Robert is always in a good mood and it just makes the day really nice to start out with good coffee. “Haven't been to this location for awhile. Today was a very pleasant surprise. The food was hot, fresh and timely. The staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service making sure everything was correct. Will definitely put this back on my list of better than average.”
