“Fast, friendly service. Got the combination plate with chicken and pork and mac salad. The meat is very tender and flavorful, rice is perfectly cooked and mac salad is creamy but not overly greasy. I also ordered a seasonal black and white peppermint mocha with oat milk which is AMAZING! Not too sweet and espresso has a smooth, not bitter taste. Will definitely recommend and come back. “Edit: this McDonald's has gotten a new manager since my original review. The difference is astounding. Staff is friendly, they listen, and I never have to check my bag to see if the food is right anymore. Going to get dinner from here is no longer a hassle or bad experience. They definitely deserve a better review than what I originally gave. It's amazing what a good manager can do! Old review: Easily the worst McDonald's in Hillsboro. Rude staff that doesn't pay attention to your order, cold food, and a 45 minute wait. Rarely when I've been there have they gotten my order correct. Don't waste your time.”

“It's a McDonald's...but it's one of the better ones. I used to hate the idea of the out front order boards, but I'm getting used to them. This location helped me get through some lean times last year when I found a "not-so-apparent" menu tweak. I'd select one of the 2 for $5 deals, and update it with large fries and large drink for less than a single sandwich large combo. I think it ended up being about $6.50. Thanks! Oh, and it's an easy off and on the expressway if you gotta grab a quick bite on the way to the Coast!”

“This location is close to my work so I go occasionally. The only time I ever have an issue is when I order the mac n cheese. I LOVE it, but it's always cold and the noodles don't quite feel cooked through. I keep getting it hoping that it was a fluke, but I've had more cold Mac than not in the last 2 years. The sandwiches and soups I get as a pick 2 are always hot and fresh so this seems to be isolated to just the Mac. The staff are usually friendly and quick to take my order.”

“This is a great little coffee shop. Just off of the Max line (.5 mi). Real homey atmosphere comfortable seating and multiple places to sit with 2-3 people to have conversations and share coffee or tea. Also larger tables too. Really great staff and very accommodating. Definitely on my list to be a regular spot to suggest for meeting up with friends.”

“This place deserves it's high rating. It's a small family owned cafe, with the family often working. I come here to get breakfast and coffee, which always taste great. The bagels are always the perfect amount of toasted, and they load on the bacon. Compared with insomnia cafe, blue circle is much calmer and low key. It's a much smaller cafe, but there is always somewhere to sit. The workers here are very friendly, quick and competent, while insomnia employees seem to mess around and take longer on orders. Blue circle is the type of place where you can come in just a couple times, and the staff will remember you and greet you warmly every time.”

It what's a large entree salad and tasted great. $9.50 Walk in, order at the counter, and food is brought to the table in about 5 minutes. Plenty of tempting desserts in the display case!”

“I came here on a Postmates delivery at 4:30 in the morning, the order that was supposed to order was mostly lunch items which they did not start until the afternoon. The employees here were very easy-going and understanding that I needed to cancel everything else and step away from the line to contact the customer and we're happy to help me out in any situation that I needed I've always been fond of the specific McDonald's because of the employees and how they treat their guests.”

“Had a great time with my 1 1/2 year old. It's is a cool place, but you have to watch other kids if their parents aren't. Most kids are great and just need reminders. The establishment is well kept up. Stop is great and accommodating, they know who their clients are... The kids. If you are a parent who takes your kid in here, please be an active parent. It helps the staff the other parents and the kids out more than you'll ever know. Great place for a rainy day, need more places like this.”

“Nice McDonald's, as far as they go. They just remodeled the play area which is the only reason we come here on rainy days. Everything appears to be the way it should in a McDonald's. That being said I find the new customer check out kiosk "systems" total nonsense and when I came in with my hands full with two toddlers the "cashier" directed (forced) me to use a kiosk. So I was made to ring in my own order while she stood and watched. It took me about 2 or 3 minutes to navigate through all the menus and select 1 kids nugget happy meal. I am a tech savvy individual. This idea of a corporate entity forcing their labor costs on unsuspecting families while they cut costs and pay their employees minimum wage is only going to continue. The Walmart I sometimes shop at removed all but a few actual cashier lanes and replaced the rest with self check kiosks, 20 or more in a row. I wish they would just hire another cashier. Soon we'll be making the food ourselves. At least give me the option to wait in a line and interact with an actual person.”

“This venue is in the middle of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. They recently remodeled the inside. Place can only hold about 20 people. Drinks are outstanding. They take great pride in perfecting their flavors. All flavors and combinations are not on the menu but they allow some level of customization. The muffins are the absolute best. Be sure to grab a couple of muffins! The popcorn chicken is a huge hit. Dark meat so it is moist and chewier than you would expect but very good.”

“My girlfriend wanted donuts from a specific donut place and said they were the best donuts in Oregon. I wanted to surprise her with donuts in the morning but I couldn't remember what place she said was the best. This place looked fancy so I decided to go here. Sure enough, Blue Star was the place she was talking about and she loved all the donuts I picked out. I'm not a big donut lover but all the donuts I tried were phenomenal. Would definitely go here again. Quality over quantity, even though I bought a ton because they looked so good.”
