“We enjoyed the breakfast at Max's several Sundays each month. We tried Cooper Mountain Ale Works lunch and it was a limited menu, but good service and the food was good. Took longer than normal, but we understand there really is no normal right now with all the restrictions. Last Sunday we tried "brunch", although it didn't open until 10am. When it was Max's we enjoyed the 9am breakfast time. We understand they are just getting started with brunch, but we all were pretty disappointed. The menu was limited and although the crepes were delicious, the chicken fried steak was tough and the corned beef hash was burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. Plus, it did not seem to actually be corned beef, it was more like a mushy brisket. The price went up drastically as well and there was no kid menu. We missed omelets on the menu as several of us have restricted diets and omelets are low carb and high protein. Also, we used to be able to order breakfast or lunch at Max's and that was not an option at Cooper Mountain, lunch was not available until 3pm. We love to take a family walk here on Sundays and have 9am breakfast and then walk back home. The bloody Mary's shrank too, but the price increased. The service was great and the staff is awesome. All I have left to say is that I miss Max's menu as it had many choices and was affordable. Don't expect this to be like Max's!”

Made a personal connection with a tired and stressed employee who lived just up the street from me in an area of Southern California where I had a house during a difficult time in my life and left to start a new journey of my own. It's very possible I know your parents....lol You weren't even born when I was living there or just a toddler at best. Hang in there. Life is tough nowadays, stay strong. Check out the East Coast we are a lot more loving and close knit there. Blue collar workers are family oriented and hard working. We stick together and have each other's back. Due to their high volume, you might have a hard time finding a good place to sit down with friends. The Covid-19 layout doesn't feature seating (per company procedures) but doesn't offer an efficient pathway to getting your drinks and maintaining distance.”
