Service and food was good. I had prime rib special. It came out just right as ordered, medium. Caesar salad must have some blue cheese in it. The dressing was more sour than I prefer. Waitress said it comes from a mix. Their air conditioning wasn't working well though. I hope they get it fixed soon. It was uncomfortably warm inside. That's why only 3 stars.

Amazing food with incredible portions. BYOB and there is no stem fee or corking charge. Good service with an excellent waitress. Everyone loved there food. Stuff eggplant parmigiana was a favorite of mine but everything we had there was great! Will definitely be back soon!

Love their selection and food quality. For the price it is a good value. All the food has a really nice home prepared quality. and there is just something a little different about Western Pennsylvania Italian food

Armstrong's was fabulous. First of all one person in our group had mobility issues. We were seated near the front at a table. We were there for lunch. Get the hot sausage casserole and the wedding soup. The wedding soup is loaded with stuff, not the usual mostly broth. It was loaded with all kinds of things. Terrific
Nice size serving of it and hot sausage casserole. ..translated, I had enough left overs for dinner. The hot sausage was great, much better than what i buy at grocery. Is it a pittsburgh thing. Everything is better in the Burg. Hubby and I shared a piece of chocolate mousse pie. Now I am stuffed, really stuffed. I wish I lived in Pittsburgh but I am back in October for a week. And I am coming here. It is terrific as was the considerate service.
