Very good food!!! Great atmosphere! Nice wine bar ! Not far from the city Right in uptown Mt. Lebanon.
The wine room dining area was a cozy, quiet space. Both pizzas that my table ordered were perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. While the food and experience were a step below fine dining, the price was very reasonable. This was a great experience all around.
Quite a delightful experience at this fine cuisine. First of, we were asked to wait 20-25 minutes for a table, which was not very pleasant. Although when we were finally showed to our table after the expected 25 minutes, we were pleased to have been kindly, joyfully and helpfully attended. I ordered a "prosciutto e arugula" pizza with a bottle of sparkling water, while the remainder guests at my table ordered some pasta with a cocktail, and a chicken with potatoes and sausage dish with a beer. Even though the pizza took longer than expected, I was extremely pleased with my dish it tasted great. The only thing I disliked is that they did not cut the prosciutto, instead just layed 2 slices on the pizza, while the water tasted fine. As for the pasta, I sampled it and I enjoyed it. The only issue that occurred is that they didn't offer us the usual cheese on top of the plate, we had to ask for it which, for such a luxurious restaurant, was simple embarrassing. As for the cocktail type drink, she seemed to have enjoyed it. While the other guest with me that evening who eaten the chicken dish, I sampled it and enjoyed it, it has an exquisite taste with elements that melted in my mouth. While for the beer, he seemed to have liked it. Aside from the plates ordered that evening, all other plates appealed and looked magnificent to devour.
Overall, they have tasty food, yet the slow service causes this restaurant to be on the verge of a 5 star-review. Thus, most of their dishes are extremely overpriced, even the drinks are at a 150% markup or more. Still, they also have a finely decorated location that appeals to the naked eye. They also have a staff extremely great manners that will assist your every need. If you want to go eat here I recommend it, yet if the waiting time is over 60 minutes, there are better places nearby. Fine dining to you, and have a great rest of your day!
Last time I was there I was with my family. We ordered margarita pizza plain, margarita pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers, Caesar salad, and their like pizza bread it’s dough cooked with cheese and oil on top not exactly sure what it’s called but delicious! Everything we ordered was so delicious even took home 2 pizzas to go! It was a great night good atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive and nice service! For sure will come back again!
