Good things: handicap parking and access, cute interior, outside bench available, local honey, French-inspired pastries. Got a little of everything: pear-rosemary galette and the thin flan = great!; peach tart = essence of smoke, maybe stored too close to asiago bagels; fruit-filled sugar cookies = totally undercooked; choco-chip cookie = more like a caramel lace cookie, chewy with nice flavor. Everything is pretty expensive, but not surprising for the neighborhood. I would probably stop again for the galette. I'm sure the neighbors love having it nearby!
We did some breakfast sandwiches twice. We were happiest with brisket and chicken club, the protein+ham+egg was a bit dry.
I did gluten free buns, what surprised me was that on two different days they tasted completely differently - various providers?
Overall very solid breakfast.
Awesome!!! Bagels are like nothing I’ve had before. Other items look great with gluten free options. Staff is super friendly. I’m sitting in the parking lot as I write this. Wish I lived near by.
I have had the pleasure of enjoying Farmer x Baker in the past and was thrilled to visit this new location! They had some much to offer baked fresh, as well as a stocked grab 'n go cooler! Can't wait to stop back!
I was not impressed with this establishment until I tasted the food 🤣 The shop is small, no indoor seating that I saw but the quality of food was amazing. All of the sandwiches a come on a bagel and they are a full meal. I had turkey and the meat (not deli meat) was moist and flavorful. We also had the brisket sandwich and it was excellent. We got the duck lasagna from the cooler section and it reheated nicely. Finally we had two of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. The staff was kind. The biggest issue was parking because the larger lot was full and we parked and had to back out on Powers Run. This is a hidden gem and you should check it out one morning!
