Cioppino Restaurant & Cigar Bar

We arrived 45 minutes before our reservation time but were greeted warmly and graciously accommodated. This was intended to be a special dinner with a long-time friend and Cioppino did not disappoint. The service was smooth, friendly and professional. The dishes were well conceived, generously portioned and skillfully executed. Finally, I would consider the value to price ratio to be excellent.

This review is based on bar experience only. I stopped in for a quick drink. The bar is not full and the service was a bit slow but the drinks are good and the bartender is nice. The restaurant has a very cozy and upscale feel, the food presentation of the tables near the bar looks amazing and it smells delicious.
I would recommend this restaurant for a date night or a quick drink.
Side note, when I checked in there was an offer for a free appetizer if you purchased two meals. Not sure how long that will last for but it would be worth coming in for that!

Our server made the dinner a wonderful experience. He was very friendly, funny, and attentive. The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious too.

Went there on a Saturday evening with a date. Amazing. Excellent service from our server. He was very inventive. Always walking by to check in on us. Superb.

The added bonus of the night was the live Jazz band. A quartet. They played some of the classic's 'Jordu', 'A song for my father'. And some I've haven't heard. Loved every minute they were on stage.

I really can't say anything bad about my experience there. I will be returning. Also let your server know you parked in the garage,as they validate your ticket. What's not to love about this place?

The food is always perfect. It is the service that makes Cioppino exceptional. Thank you Drew, Carrie and the marvelous pastry chef Meghann. This is our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. I am gluten free and always cared for with the ultimate culinary experience without prejudice. It is dining at it's finest!
