Excellent sandwiches and macaroni salad

Great buns for the subs. Meats fresh. Custom orders not a problem. Will special wrap for travel/trips.

Love a healthy sandwich with more meat and cheese than bread.

Very nice place. Small and intimate. Smiling staff is wonderful. I ordered the wedding soup ($3.50) and chicken salad sandwich ($7.50). Soup stock was very oily/fatty, and lacked parmesan topping. They mark the chicken salad as best in town so my expectation as a cook was high. Best part was the crusty soft bread..super! Chicken salad was very fresh/chilled with standard mayo but short on flavor, seasonings and veggies. Salt/pepper seemed forgotten. Had tomato and lettuce and side pickle but not enough celery/red onion bits. No celery salt, no tarragon, no red grapes. So not fancy at all. And a major turn-off is that even though you order to eat IN, they wrap the sandwich with giant butcher paper and tape it shut. Really? So everyone is sitting at their tiny table covered by this giant paper mess over their tray. Why not a paper plate if you don't want to wash a dish? For the $11 price, it's a sadly informal way to eat in. Owner needs to sit on the customer side more often. Problems could be easily remedied. I will go again to try other things.

Defentonly an awesome place to eat in Pittsburgh if you're trying to save time food was amazing the people were awesome!! and it definitely stands by its claim. The best chicken salad and town. My review might be a grammatical Terror but the food was amazing
