It's well worth the money, we always have a great meal and take a lot home. Never had a bad meal there. Everyone is so nice.
A bit noisy at first. Families with young children and babies. Once they left it quieted down. The venue is on the small side so noise carries. Great food although they were not serving the Garlic Soup. I missed not having that. Attentive service without being annoying. A good time.
I absolutely love Mallorca! Where to start....
Food | They have an incredible variety of food options and are more than happy to accommodate any special requests. Their menus offers food that you won't find anywhere else in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend the swordfish.
Atmosphere | The dining room is cozy and welcoming but the real gem is the beautiful patio. With white linens and flowers all around, how could you not love it!
People | The staff at Mallorca really set it apart for me. From the bartenders to the hosts and the servers to management/ownership, everyone is wonderful. They are professional but friendly and quick with a joke.
Extras | If you stop on your birthday, you will be treated to a dessert and the whole restaurant singing to you. This includes an opera singing staff member!
Everything at Mallorca comes together to make it a meal to remember!
Finally made it here. I just dropped in, wasn't dressed well, and was welcome to open arms. They seated me quickly and not in a dark corner.
When I explained that I hadn't been there but wanting to try traditional Spanish food, the waitress was enticing me with their huge non-printed menu. I was torn but I went traditional, Paella Valenciana. It was huge! It came with a small salad, bread, a side of mixed vegetables, and their potato chips. Needless to say I came home with a box. Breakfast!
As much as I love the food, the ambiance immediately took me back to my time in Europe. I can't wait to go back and try something from the non-printed menu.
Atmosphere was very nice. Food was good. Service was good. Could be very dressed up or in causal attire and still look fine. They were not judgmental like some high class restaurants. Will go again.
