This place has the best pizza in Pgh. The pistachio one is to die for! Also - super reasonable corkage fee. Love the atmosphere and the service is always excellent!

Went on a Friday evening right around dinner time in a party of 4 and we ended up waiting about 45 since they do not take reservations, but it was absolutely worth it. We shared the meatball appetizer and got separate entrees. The vegetarian pasta options included a butternut squash, pesto and kale ricotta pasta and spinach ravioli, both of which were delicious. Service was quick and attentive. I have been recommending this place for a nice dinner ever since.

This is a very nice spot for a meal. Excellent Italian food with an interesting twist. We brought our own wine and I had the lasagna. Very big portions. We went home full and happy.

FYI. Not many options if you're trying to avoid grains, but hey, it's an Italian restaurant.

Delicious, creative menu with adventurous Italian dishes that surprise and delight! I appreciated dishes that incorporate tasty veggies and meats with pasta. Come with curiosity.

Piccolo Forno is in my top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. I absolutely love it here. The food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly. I love the intimate atmosphere and that you can watch them make the pizzas.

The BEST part (besides the amazing food) is that its BYOB. The prices on the food are overall reasonable but I love that I can save even more money by bringing my own wine. Instead of spending money on a $12 glass of wine, I can have my own wine and get an extra appetizer, or two, or maybe also a pizza, or maybe also another entree to "split" with my fiance.

Anyways, the food is that good and I definitely recommend.
